The photography is absolutely stunning, and the short amounts of text beautifully explain some of the science animsl biology of the animals while using elegantly big words like cnidarians and coelenterates both meaning animals in the family with jellyfish and corals.

There are tons more architectural amazement out there from all sorts of animals. So I funded my equipment, the first movies and travelling.
Thus book is beautifully illustrated and covers a topic that needs more coverage. I also had no idea that Darwin discovered why coral goes thousands of feet deep into the ocean yet is only living at the top. On the one hand, the vast majority of this book is filled with beautiful photos of the designs of animals in the studio environment as well as in creation that demonstrate the capacity of animals for subcreation in beautiful and elegant forms that we would recognize from our own design expertise.

I turned and read each page with a sense of awe. We see termites skillfully building in order to keep their mounds cool by presenting a broad surface area for morning and evening sun and a small surface area for hotter noonday sun. Since then I have been working continuously for the demanding achitecture magazine and have photographed nearly thirty stories on their behalf.
Lists with This Book. We get the most positive feedback from museum visitors who have seen our exhibits. The author also discusses beaver dams and coral reefs and their construction excellence in terms of size and sophistication, reminding human beings that we are not the only designers architectkre the architectufe.
